Ceasefire in Gaza extended for 2 more days, Qatar announced
Qatar announced an agreement to extend the 4-day humanitarian ceasefire that came into effect in Gaza on November 24th for an additional 2 days.

An agreement for a four-day "humanitarian pause" in the conflicts between Israel and Hamas went into effect on Friday, November 24th, at 7:00 AM (GMT 08:00).
According to the agreement, there was a consensus to release 150 Palestinian prisoners from Israeli jails in exchange for 50 Israeli captives held by Hamas.
Within the scope of the prisoner exchange agreement between Israel and Hamas, so far, 40 Israeli captives—one male from the Gaza Strip and the rest women and children—have been released, alongside 117 Palestinian women and child captives from Israeli prisons.
CURRENT SITUATION IN ISRAEL'S OCCUPATION OF GAZA
The armed wing of Hamas, the Izzeddin al-Qassam Brigades, launched a comprehensive attack on the morning of October 7th in response to Israel's "continuous violations against Palestinians, especially towards sacred places like Al-Aqsa Mosque." In turn, the Israeli army initiated intense aerial bombardments on the Gaza Strip.
In Israel, it was reported that more than 1,200 Israelis, including over 310 soldiers, died in the attacks on October 7th. Additionally, 5,132 people were injured. According to the Israeli army, 70 soldiers have been killed in the conflicts in Gaza since October 7th, with 6 Israeli soldiers killed near the Lebanon border.
As per Gaza's government, since October 7th, over 14,854 individuals, including more than 6,150 children and over 4,000 women, have been killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip.
In the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, since October 7th, 239 Palestinians have lost their lives in attacks by Israeli forces and Jewish settlers.
The Israeli army forcibly targeted numerous hospitals where tens of thousands of injured and civilians sought refuge in Gaza. Some hospitals were stormed during the occupation. These attacks resulted in the deaths and injuries of hundreds of people.
Since October 8th, in the border conflicts between the Israeli army and Hezbollah, 85 Hezbollah members have died.
