Israeli army intercepts suspected drone heading towards Eilat: Report

The Israeli military announced Tuesday that it intercepted a suspected drone heading towards the city of Eilat, local media reported.
The Times of Israel daily quoted a military statement describing the object as a "suspicious aerial target" that was believed to be a drone which was approaching Israel from the east.
The suspected drone was successfully intercepted by air defenses over Eilat, preventing any potential threat, it added.
No group has claimed responsibility for the incident.
