Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng will be fit for pre-season despite limping out of the Bundesliga champions' 4-1 win over Freiburg on Saturday.
Substituted after only 11 minutes in the final season game, Boateng skipped the initial title celebrations for a scan "which revealed a muscle injury to his right thigh," Bayern said Sunday.
However, he will "definitely" be able to return when preparations for the next campaign begin.
Boateng joined his team-mates late Saturday at the Postpalast venue having missed the trophy presentation following the final match of the season and the town hall reception.
