Liverpool forward Sadio Mane looks set to return to full training within 10 days as he continues his rehabilitation from knee surgery.
Mane was operated on in April after suffering meniscus damage in his left knee against Everton.
Liverpool open pre-season training on Wednesday with the 25-year-old expected to join the squad shortly afterwards.
"His recovery plan is on schedule and Mane's condition has looked good as he's completed outdoor sessions to step up his recuperation programme," the club said on their website on Thursday.
"He will continue to be monitored and assessed by the club's medical staff to ensure he returns in the best shape and ready for the remainder of the pre-season schedule."
Mane scored 13 goals in 27 league games after moving from Southampton last summer for 30 million pounds (39 million dollars).
Liverpool open the Premier League season at Watford on August 12.
