Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah has signed a new long-term contract after a record-setting debut season with the Premier League club.
Salah scored 44 goals in 52 games overall after joining Liverpool from Roma last summer.
The 26-year-old Egypt international also won the Premier League's Golden Boot with 32 goals, a record for a 38-game season, as the Reds finished fourth.
"I think this news can be seen for what it is - rewarding a person who performed and contributed greatly for the team and the club last season," Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp told the club's website on Monday.
"It demonstrates two things very clearly also - his belief in Liverpool and our belief in him."
The club did not specify the length of Salah's new deal.
Salah scored twice at the World Cup for Egypt but could not prevent his country exiting in the group phase.
