Real set unwanted record of 482 minutes without scoring
Real Madrid reached the worst scoring drought in its history in a 2-1 home loss to Levante in the Spanish league on Saturday. Julen Lopetegui's team went more than 465 minutes without finding the net before Marcelo ended the streak in the second half at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

Real Madrid hit a new low under beleaguered coach Julen Lopetegui as they set an unwelcome club record of 482 minutes without scoring during a 2-1 defeat at home to Levante, their third successive loss in all competitions.
Defender Marcelo ended the historic wait for a goal by smashing into the roof of the net in the 71st minute against Levante, after the visitors had taken the lead through Jose Luis Morales and a penalty scored by Roger Marti.
Before Marcelo struck against Levante, Real's last goal in any competition had come in a 1-0 win against Espanyol on Sept. 22, with them failing to score in their following games with Sevilla, Atletico Madrid, CSKA Moscow and Alaves.
