AC Milan striker Gonzalo Higuain has been handed a two-game ban for abusing a referee who booked him during a league game, the Lega Serie A said Tuesday.
The Argentinian railed against the official after being cautioned, and he was dismissed with a second yellow card late in Sunday's home game the Devils lost 2-0 against his former club Juventus.
Higuain had earlier failed to convert a penalty while the champions Juve were 1-0 up.
He will be out for a visit at Lazio and a home game against Parma.
