Galatasaray beat Fenerbahçe 83-64 in Basketball derby

Galatasaray Doğa Sigorta defeated Fenerbahçe Beko 83-64 in derby game of Turkey's ING Basketball Super League match in Istanbul on Sunday.
With this result, it was first loss for the Istanbul's yellow-navy club in Turkish Super Lig.
Although Fenerbahçe Beko was ahead 37-35 in the first half of the game, The Lions managed to comeback with Greg Whittington's successive points and took the lead 40-39 in the 22nd minutes.
In the third quarters, the Lions went into the final period with an 58-55 advantage.
Galatasaray increased their lead to nine points in the 33rd minute 66-57.
While away team tried to narrow the gap, Galatasaray Doğa Sigorta secured the lead, scoring with Zach Auguste and Greg Whittington.
Starting the last quarter with three-point shots in a row, Galatasaray managed to beat Fenerbahçe 83-64 at Sinan Erdem Dome.
The Galatasaray's Colombian small forward Greg Whittington produced 20 points and nine rebound while, Tai Webster from New Zealand scored 17 points against Fenerbahçe Beko.
In addition, shooting guard Nando de Colo produced 16 points and seven rebound for Fenerbahçe Beko.
