Lazio striker Ciro Immobile has virtually secured Europe's Golden Boot award as his nearest competitor, Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo, will not play the closing game of Serie A late Saturday.
Immobile, on 35 goals, has four more than the Portuguese ace and chases a new league record when he plays against Napoli, the squad where Gonzalo Higuain scored 36 goals in 2015-16 before moving to Juve.
Ronaldo was not on Juve's roster for the game against Roma, when the Bianconeri, who clinched an ninth straight title early, will rest several players as they look ahead to Champions League duty against Lyon on Friday.
Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski has closed the season on 34 goals for the German champions.
