Turkish football club Galatasaray acquired Norwegian right-back Omar Elabdellaoui, the club announced on Monday.
The Lions confirmed that Elabdellaoui signed a three-year contract with Galatasaray.
"I am proud and honored to be joining Galatasaray. A club with a great tradition and a proud history. Thanks for the warm welcome I've received from the fans these past few weeks. Now let's get to work," Elabdellaoui said on Twitter.
Galatasaray will pay Elabdellaoui €1.3 million ($1.5 million) for this season, €1.35 million for the 2021-2022 campaign and €1.4 million for the 2022-23 season.
Elabdellaoui previously played for the Dutch side Feyenoord, Germany's Eintracht Braunschweig, English team Hull City and Greek club Olympiacos.
The 28-year-old scored 11 goals and 16 assists in 170 games for Olympiacos as he helped the team win four Super League Greece titles.
