Turkish national football team's new shirts have been unveiled on Tuesday as the flag motif on the 2020 kits is referring to the nation's retro jersey.
In a statement, the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) said that both home and away shirts have enlarged crescent and star centered on the red chest band.
The home shirt is white, meanwhile, red dominates the away jersey.
It said that the 2020 collection was based on the theme of "Turkiyem" (My Turkey) as this phrase was printed inside of the neck of the jerseys.
In addition, the logo of the producer, Nike, is located above the enlarged crescent and star, which seems like a big Turkish flag.
TFF added that the team will wear an all-red jersey for the first time on Sept. 3 against Hungary.
And the white shirt will be worn for the Serbia match on Sept. 6.
The new Turkish kits were designed for the UEFA Nations League, EURO 2020 finals and the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
