Italy's Serie A club Napoli confirmed on Saturday that their North Macedonian midfielder Eljif Elmas tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
"The results of the last four tests have revealed that Elif Elmas has tested positive for COVID-19," Napoli said on Twitter.
"All the COVID-19 tests carried out on team members this morning have come back negative. Four further tests are still being processed and will be ready later today," the club added.
Elmas, 21, moved from Turkey's Fenerbahçe in July 2019 to Napoli, where he scored one goal in two games for the Italian side this season.
