Former world tennis number one Angelique Kerber is pregnant, her management told dpa on Wednesday.
The three-time Grand Slam winner is expecting her first child and will not play in the US Open starting on Monday.
Kerber, 34, last played at Wimbledon in July.
Her pregnancy does not meant the end of her career, her management added.
