Turkish minister hits out at US support for YPG

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu speaks Turkish television agency A Haber on recent developments in Syria.
Minister Cavusoglu said, "We are working on two texts for ceasefire. Cavusoglu pointed out that there are various documents that the US has given weapons to terrorist organizations." As a one member of coalition powers the US has not been supporting the Euphrates Shield Operation for a certain period of time.
Cavusoglu was also critical of US - led coalition forces which had not recently given air support to Turkey - backed opposition fighters taking part in Operation Euphrates Shield against Daesh.
Foreign Ministry highlighted that "the US has given YPG a weapon!"
The YPG is the armed wing of the PYD - the Syrian offshoot of the PKK, which is designated a terrorist organization by Turkey, the US and the EU.
