A six-day exhibition of Anadolu Agency's photos and footages captured during the last year coup attempt will open in Istanbul later this week.
'The Victory of Democracy: July 15, 2016', organized in cooperation with Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) and Anadolu Agency, will be held from July 13 to 18 at New Mosque Sultan's Pavilion (Yeni Cami Hunkar Kasri) in Eminonu district.
The opening speech will be delivered by ITO President Ibrahim Caglar and Anadolu Agency's Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board Saban Kizildag.
Caglar said that the July 15 will be remembered and they would commemorate the memory of martyrs and veterans with the selected photos.
He said Anadolu Agency made "a note of history" in a "historical mission" with their photos and news reporting that night.
According to the Turkish government, Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) and its U.S.-based leader Fetullah Gulen orchestrated the defeated coup of July 15, 2016, which left 250 people martyred and nearly 2,200 injured.
Ankara also accuses FETO of being behind a long-running campaign to overthrow the state through the infiltration of Turkish institutions, particularly the military, police, and judiciary.
