A PKK terrorist has been killed in northern Iraq, the Turkish military said Thursday.
An operation in the Hakurk border region, which houses PKK camps, also led to the capture of another terrorist, the Turkish General Staff said in a statement that contained no further details.
Meanwhile, two PKK terrorists were captured in Beytuşşebap, a town in the southeastern province of Şırnak, the provincial governor's office said.
The PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU -- resumed its armed campaign against Turkey in July 2015. Since then, it has been responsible for the deaths of around 1,200 Turkish security personnel and civilians.
