Thousands of disabled people in the Montenegrin city of Niksic are to benefit from a Turkish-backed scheme which has seen 250 access ramps built across the city.
Turkey's state aid body -- the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) -- has built wheelchair ramps in 250 spots across Niksic, the country's second city.
Mayor of Niksic, Veselin Grbovic, told Anadolu Agency the $95,000 project was very important for his city.
Established in 1992, TIKA is responsible for implementing Turkey's developmental cooperation policies overseas.
