Turkish police on Monday arrested 13 suspects, including nine serving military staff, as part of an ongoing probe into the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO), according to Ankara Governor's Office.
The operation was carried out in 10 different provinces as part of the probe launched by Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the Governor's Office said.
Four officers, five non-commissioned officers, two civil servants and two military students were among the detainees, it added.
The FETO and its U.S.-based leader Fetullah Gulen orchestrated the defeated coup of July 2016, which left 250 people martyred and nearly 2,200 injured.
Ankara accuses FETO of being behind a long-running campaign to overthrow the state through the infiltration of Turkish institutions, particularly the military, police and judiciary.
