A Turkey-based think-tank Global Research Thinking Center and Düzce Governorship held a workshop on Syrian refugees living in Turkey.
The workshop titled "Migration, Syrians and Integration" was jointly organized in northwestern Duzce province on Saturday.
"We consider Syrians and those who come from other foreign countries as our guests. We have to integrate and reintroduce our guests to the society," Düzce Governor Zülkif Dağlı told Anadolu Agency.
Dağlı said that within the scope of the governorship all public institutions, non-governmental organizations and associations were working to resolve the problems of Syrians and other foreigners.
"We are looking for solutions to their problems such as education, health, and employment," he said.
Turkey hosts more Syrian refugees than any other country in the world. The country has spent around $25 billion helping and sheltering refugees since the beginning of the Syrian civil war.
