The leader of the main opposition party on Thursday pledged his support to the Syrian peace process.
Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, chairman of the Republican People's Party (CHP), said: "We will be very happy if the Syrian issue is solved.
"We back the territorial integrity of Syria and Iraq. We also want Turkey to live with its neighbors in peace. For this reason, we are ready to do our part to give all kinds of support."
On Wednesday, the leaders of Russia, Turkey and Iran met at the Black Sea resort of Sochi. Russian President Vladimir Putin said they had agreed to support a Syrian peoples' congress as an initial step to establish dialogue between the warring sides.
