Nearly all tickets issued by the Turkish National Lottery for the New Year special draw have been sold.
According to information obtained by Anadolu Agency from the National Lottery General Directorate as of late Tuesday, 99 percent of the tickets have been sold.
The sale of tickets will continue until Dec. 31, when the draw will be held.
If all the tickets are sold out, 349 million Turkish liras [$91 million] of award will be distributed and the state treasury will earn 149 million liras [$39 million].
The first prize of the draw will be 61 million liras [$16 million], followed by prizes of 10 million, 2 million, 1 million and 500,000 liras.
