Transportation minister announces final route of Kanal Istanbul project

Transportation, Maritime and Communications Minister Ahmet Arslan announced that the project route of the Kanal Istanbul Project will be along Küçükçekmece, Sazlıdere and Durusu line and will extend around 45 kilometers.
Speaking at a news conference in Ankara, Arslan noted that the route of the project has been determined following intense work on earthquake risk evaluations, wind and wave climate works and other projects that will be integrated with the canal.
