Thirteen suspects have been arrested during anti-narcotics operations across northwestern Turkey, according to a police source on Tuesday.
In northwestern Bursa province, anti-narcotics units detained nine suspects during raids targeting drug traffickers across the city, the source, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on talking to the media, said.
Another operation was carried out in coastal northwestern Balikesir province during which gendermarie units apprehended three people, known by the initials H.A., A.A., M.G., following a tip-off.
More than 3 kilograms (6.6 pounds) of marijuana and a gun were also confiscated, the source added.
Another operation was also conducted in Eskisehir province during which a suspect was detained while 95 grams of Skunk cannabis was seized during a raid at a house in the city center, the source added.
