Six PKK terrorists were "neutralized" during air operations in northern Iraq, the Turkish army said on Tuesday.
Turkish authorities often use the word "neutralized" in their statements to imply that the terrorists in question were either killed or captured.
Turkish jets hit terror targets on Monday and Tuesday in northern Iraq's Zap, Hakurk, Gara, Avasin-Basyan and Kani Rash regions, the Turkish General Staff said in a statement.
Nine shelters and a ropeway used by the terrorists were also destroyed.
In its more than 30-year terrorist campaign against Turkey, the PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU -- has been responsible for the death of nearly 40,000 people.
