In a written statement, the governorship said that an operation was carried out on Wednesday to apprehend alleged members of the terror group.
Police seized AK-47 and SIG SG-542 rifles and ammunition at houses and work places of the suspects during the operation.
The PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU -- resumed its terror campaign against Turkey in July 2015.
Since then, it has been responsible for the deaths of more than 1,200 Turkish security personnel and civilians, including a number of women and children.
