Members of two Azerbaijani organizations staged a demonstration in support of Turkey in capital Baku on Tuesday.
Demonstrators waving Turkish and Azerbaijani flags had gathered in front of the Turkish Embassy in Baku. Some also carried photographs of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and chanted slogans against the U.S.
Baku Union of War Veterans Deputy Chairman Muharrem Ismailov called on Turkey's friends to use the Turkish lira and the country's products.
Ismailov said the U.S. understands Turkey will become a superpower in the near future and therefore it wants to create difficulties for the country.
