PKK terrorist on Turkey’s most wanted list neutralized in operations in eastern Erzincan
A high ranking PKK terrorist sought by Turkey was neutralized along with two other terrorists in operations in eastern Turkey's Erzincan province, Interior Ministry said in a statement Thursday.

One of the three terrorists neutralized in an operation by Turkish security forces this week had been on the country's wanted list, the Interior Ministry announced on Thursday.
An anti-terror operation in the eastern Erzincan province neutralized three terrorists on Aug. 12-13.
Ahmet Boyraz, codenamed Fikri, was an armed terrorists targeted by the gendarmerie forces, who was on the Interior Ministry's wanted list and among those neutralized in the operation in the Kemah district of eastern Erzincan province.
He was listed in the orange category and sought with a bounty of 600,000 Turkish liras (roughly $108,000).
The terrorist had previously martyred a citizen and burned two vehicles on Aug. 27, 2015.
Turkish authorities often use the word "neutralized" in their statements to imply that the terrorists in question either surrendered or were killed or captured.
The wanted list is divided into five color-coded categories, with red as the most wanted, followed by blue, green, orange and gray.
In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU -- has been responsible for the deaths of nearly 40,000 people, including many women, children, and infants.
