Three Turkish soldiers were martyred and another injured in an attack by PKK terrorists in Turkey's southeastern Şırnak province, the provincial governor's office said on Wednesday.
Previously, the governor's office had said that one soldier was martyred and two others injured while they were guarding Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) workers in the Silopi district.
Later, two soldiers succumbed to their injuries.
Meanwhile, a terrorist was "neutralized" during air-supported operations in Şırnak, according to the governor's office.
Anti-terror operations were ongoing in the region.
In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU -- has been responsible for the deaths of nearly 40,000 people, including many women, children and infants.
