Turkey's foreign minister on Tuesday shared his country's contributions to international efforts during the novel coronavirus pandemic at a virtual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF).
Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said on Twitter that he attended the 3rd Meeting of Global Action Group of the WEF via video conference.
"#COVID19 has exposed our weaknesses, but now we also have opportunities to build a better and safer world," Çavuşoğlu added.
Across the world, COVID-19 has claimed over 930,300 lives in 188 countries and regions since last December.
The US, India, Brazil, and Russia are currently the worst-hit countries.
