Turkey reported 1,742 more cases of the novel coronavirus and 1,202 recoveries on Tuesday.
"The number of our active patients and patients in critical condition continues to increase," Turkey's Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said on Twitter.
The country's overall infection count now stands at 294,620, including 261,260 recoveries, according to the Health Ministry's data.
The death toll from pandemic in Turkey rose to 7,186, with 67 new fatalities reported since Monday.
A total of 110,412 more coronavirus tests were conducted over the past 24 hours, pushing the total up to over 8.74 million.
The number of patients in critical condition now stands at 1,327, the data showed.
Of those infected, 7.1% suffer from pneumonia, showed the ministry figures.
"The number of those who have recovered can exceed the number of our losses only with caution," Koca added.
Across the world, COVID-19 has claimed over 929,400 lives in 188 countries and regions since last December.
The US, India, Brazil, and Russia are currently the worst-hit countries.
More than 29.32 million cases have been reported worldwide, with recoveries exceeding 19.89 million, according to figures compiled by the US' Johns Hopkins University.
