PKK terrorist surrenders to Turkish security forces

A PKK terrorist surrendered on Thursday following persuasion efforts by police and gendarmerie forces, the Turkish Interior Ministry said.
The terrorist, who joined a terror organization in 2015, laid down arms in the southeastern Şırnak province, according to the statement.
With the latest addition, the number of terrorists who gave up fighting through persuasion in 2020 has risen to 197, it said.
