PKK terrorist surrendered to security forces in southeastern Turkey, said Turkish security sources on Tuesday.
The terrorist fled from the terror group's hideouts in northern Syria, said the source, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on speaking to the media.
He surrendered to security forces in Suruc in the southeastern Şanlıurfa province without weapons or equipment, the source added, stressing that the terrorist PKK continues to hemorrhage members.
In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the US, and the EU -- has been responsible for the deaths of nearly 40,000 people, including women, children, and infants.
