Turkish football chief tests positive for coronavirus

TFF President Nihat Özdemir had tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

President of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Nihat Özdemir has tested positive for COVID-19, the federation announced on Wednesday.

He went into the quarantine and started to receive treatment, it added.

Özdemir, 70, has been the president of the TFF since 2019.
