The president of Turkey on Wednesday received two Austrian-Turks credited for risking their lives to save an injured woman and police officer in a terrorist attack in Vienna.
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received Recep Tayyip Gültekin and Mikail Özen at the presidential complex in the capital Ankara, said a statement by Turkey's Presidency.
Earlier, Erdoğan had spoken to Gültekin and Özen over the phone.
On Nov. 3, a deadly terror attack struck Vienna, leaving four people dead and 22 wounded.
