Multiple dead reported after truck hits crowd in accident in Turkish city of Mardin
Scores of people were killed and dozens of others injured in a road accident in southeastern Türkiye on Saturday, the health minister said. A truck collided with first responders of another accident involving a truck and two vehicles in Mardin's Derik district, leading to casualties.

At least 20 people were killed and 26 injured Saturday in a road accident in southeastern Türkiye, according to the country's interior minister.
Süleyman Soylu arrived in Mardin's Derik district where a truck collided with first responders of another accident involving a truck and two vehicles.
Soylu told reporters that the accident is being investigated in all aspects by the prosecutor's office.
He also tweeted that teams were mobilized and the injured were being transported to hospitals.
Earlier, in a statement on Twitter, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said eight of the wounded were critical, adding that all means were being utilized for the treatment of the injured.
