Turkish foreign minister meets with Iranian president in Tehran

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Monday met with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi in Tehran.
Separately, Fidan met with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan, also in the Iranian capital.
Fidan was in Iran to attend a regional cooperation platform to promote lasting peace and stability in the South Caucasus, according to Turkish diplomatic sources.
The meeting, organized at the level of foreign ministers, was attended by Türkiye, the host country Iran, and Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia.
