THY Press Advisor Yahya Üstün announced on his social media account that there were disruptions in ticketing and reservations.
Üstün shared the following information regarding the issue:
"Due to problems in the network infrastructure, there are disruptions in ticketing and reservation processes. Necessary efforts are being made to resolve the issue and prevent inconvenience to our passengers. We apologize for the inconvenience. We will provide you with information about the situation in 30 minutes." Üstün also stated, "All Turkish Airlines flights departing from Istanbul between 19:00 - 22:00 have been canceled."
THY announced that for the canceled flights departing from Istanbul, accommodation, refunds, and any resulting inconveniences for ticketed passengers will be compensated.
