The Istanbul Straits on Saturday temporarily suspended both directions of traffic due to a cargo ship malfunction.
A tugboat was dispatched to help the SNP Pazar, an 80-meter (262-foot) cargo ship, which suffered a machinery malfunction near the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, said a statement by the Turkish Coastal Safety Directorate General.
