President Joe Biden will nominate General Charles Brown as the new US chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on Thursday, the White House said.
The nomination for Brown to replace General Mark Milley as the overall top officer for all branches of the armed services will be made at a Rose Garden ceremony, a statement said.
