Qurban bayram boosts Turkish economy

The extended 10 day Qurban Bayram holiday made all happy from A to Z. The 10 day holiday also created a massive economy on its own. Including expenses like sacrificial animals, plane and bus tickets to clothes; the upcoming Qurban Bayram economy is expected to surpass 17 billion liras. Around 4 million small cattle and bovine animals are expected to be sold in total at slaughterhouses throughout Turkey. Money spent for sacrificial animals, meanwhile, is expected to hit as high as 10 billion dollars.
