Record rise in Russian tourists

The number of Russian tourists travelling to Antalya has seen a record 1,455 percent increase, rising from 12,144 tourists in April last year to 188,914 this year.

The number of tourists coming through the Antalya Airport and the Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport in April also increased by 37 percent, with the figure reaching 526,349, up from 384,072.

In the meantime, tourists coming from various other countries such as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, South Korea, Qatar, Egypt and Jordan also increased by 320 percent.
