Assad regime forces demolish remaining homes around Damascus
During the Syrian civil war, many neighborhoods around Damascus were destroyed by shelling and by regime operations. Al-Asali was one of those neighborhoods that witnessed fierce fighting between the forces of Syria's former President Bashar Assad and the opposition groups.
