U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo defended U.S. President Donald Trump's decision late last year to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital. Pompeo was asked if the U.S. took a position on the recent protests at the Gaza-Israel border, in which nearly 50 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire. Pompeo said the U.S. 'fully supports Israel's right to defend itself.
