Turkey's state-run aid agency has stepped up deliveries of humanitarian aid to displaced Turkmen families in Iraq.
The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) on Friday distributed food packages to 500 Turkmen families who fled the war-battered cities of Mosul and Tal Afar to the city of Najaf.
Turkish Ambassador to Iraq Fatih Yildiz personally helped distribute the aid.
Since the Daesh terrorist group overran Mosul in mid-2014, many Turkmen families have fled the war-battered city to Baghdad, Najaf and Babil.
