Swiss police on Monday confirmed that a chainsaw attack in a Swiss town in which at least five people were injured, two seriously, was not a terrorist incident.
The attacker entered an office building in a suburban area of Schaffhausen, northern Switzerland, where he carried out the attack on Monday morning. He reportedly targeted the offices of a health insurance company.
Officers sealed off the scene of the attack in the northern town, near the German border.
Police have published photos of a male suspect, described as being tall and unkempt. Officers later found a car thought to be linked to the attacker, who is still at large.
The motive for the attack is currently unknown.
