Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made remarks on A News live broadcast late Friday over ethnic cleansing towards Rohingya Muslims who came to Bangladesh fleeing from Myanmar violence.
Erdoğan stressed in his speech that the picture in Myanmar's Rakhine state is disaster and also condemned the persecution against Rohingya Muslims.
Modern tent camps should be immediately built to the growing number of refugees, Erdoğan said in a statement.
Highlighting the poor conditions of the Rohingya camps in Bangladesh, Erdoğan recalled Turkey's plans to improve the situation.
