At least one person was killed and six others wounded in a suicide attack targeting a police station in Somalia's northern autonomous region of Puntland on Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
"A suicide bomber targeted a central police station in Bosaso this afternoon, killing himself, wounding six others," Abdihakim Yusuf, a police officer in Bosaso told Anadolu agency over the phone.
The victims were all civilians, he added.
Abdullahi Mohamed Jama, Puntland state house spokesman confirmed the incident to local media.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
Tuesday's attack comes 11 days after a truck bomb attack in Mogadishu killed at least 358 people.
Bosaso in the region of Bari is a port town located on the Gulf of Aden.
