A fugitive linked to the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) has complained of Turkey's protests on the U.S. move on Jerusalem.
"Anti-US & anti-Israel rallies across Turkey today has been driven by [President Recep Tayyip] Erdoğan's family foundation TUGVA, pro-gov't groups, Turkish Hezbollah & some al-Qaida linked groups," Abdullah Bozkurt tweeted on Friday.
Bozkurt, who was the Ankara-based representative of FETO-linked Today's Zaman newspaper, expressed his discomfort on Turkish people's stance on the U.S. decision. The newspaper's management was taken over on March, 2016.
"Anti-US/anti-Israeli protestors in Turkey's southeastern province Adana asked the removal of troops in Incirlik Air Base where US-led NATO & anti-DAESH troops stationed. The rally organized by Turkish Hezbollah & al-Qaeda linked Oncu Nesil association, among others," he claimed.
FETO and its U.S.-based leader Fetullah Gulen masterminded the defeated coup that left 250 people martyred.
He went on tweeting: "Protestors in Turkey show effigy of US President Trump with a banner reading 'zionist pig', burned US/Israel flags, chants 'devil America' & 'down with US'."
His series of tweets drew condemnations from hundreds of Twitter users.
Members of the FETO, the terrorist organization known for its pro-Israel attitude on every sensitive issue, were also sharing pro-Israeli posts when Turkey and Israel renewed ties in June 2016, following a six-year split over the attack on the Mavi Marmara humanitarian aid ship.
Israeli commandos had killed 10 Turkish activists aboard the Gaza-bound vessel.
Also, Bozkurt had penned a story about "why foreign embassies are no longer safe in Turkey" about three days before the assassination of Russian Ambassador Andrey Karlov.
