At least one person was killed in a bomb blast in Egypt's coastal city of Alexandria on Saturday, according to the country's interior ministry.
A device exploded beneath a parked car as the convoy of the Alexandria security chief was passing in the Roman Camp street, east of the city, the ministry said in a statement.
Four people were injured in the attack. There was no claim of responsibility for the bombing.
Saturday's attack came two days before Egyptians start voting in the country's presidential election, in which incumbent President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi runs for re-election.
