A Facebook feed by a Romanian passenger van driver may have led to nine deaths in a traffic accident, Romanian media reported Wednesday.
Reports showed a 37-second video made by the driver shortly before he collided with an oncoming lorry in the opposing lane near Budapest. He was apparently making a live video for Facebook.
Hungarian police were yet to confirm the details of the accident, which happened on Tuesday afternoon.
All of the victims - eight passengers and the bus driver - were Romanian nationals. The passengers were agricultural workers returning home from work in Slovenia.
